For starters, I want to say that I am sorry for the loss you all endured. As an experienced bodybuilder, Nutritional Company CEO,and Anabolic Steroid Advocate, I can tell you that this article is in fact very misleading. Although They may "speculate" steroids were involved ,in fact there is no direct link proving this. Judging by his physique, I doubt he used any serious doses of anabolic steroids. Todays pro bodybuilders tip the scales at 300 lbs of massive musclular physiques. Much Like the "Lyle Alzado" steroid death, the media acted premature in stating anabolic steroids contributed to the athletes death. Today we have all learned the facts regarding Lyle Alzado's death.The coroner, and Mr. Alzado's personal physician have both stated "Anabolic Steroids played absolutely no role in Mr. Alzado's Death". The numbers and statistics just do not support the statements. To date, not 1 single individual in history has overdosed from anabolic steroids. Of all of the 1000's of competitive bodybuilders who use mega doses of anabolic steroids on a weekly basis.....the death tolls simply do not exist. I'll end in stating this fact: If some of these bodybuilders consumed as many vitamins as they do steroids, I guarantee they would be hospitalized for vitamin poisoning and would suffer serious physical issues if not death. In retrospect, vitamins are more harmful than anabolic steroids.

Over generalized statement that should have pointed the finger at Black Market AAS and possibly an undereducated user. But why would they give a s*hit.... its just easier to blame something or someone else instead of looking at all the facts first... because that might include perceived fault of the parents themselves. How about trying to help other people by stating:
"If you or your child engage in the use of AAS do so under medical supervision AND educate yourself about proper usage". How come thousands of ADULTS benefit from the use of AAS every year and are that much better off? and just for the record, how come thousands & thousands of people have died from drinking and driving and yet Alcohol isnt an illegal substance to posses and distribute in the USA? BUT a few people take AAS and break records on a baseball field or track & field event or BB contest and its slapped in the same category as meth and heroin??? Good old politics....fix the squeeky wheel while theres a fire blazing in the trunk.
